Program Goals The Bachelor of Ministry (Pastoral Counselling) is a degree program designed for those who intend to further their training beyond the foundational diploma program to a praxis oriented degree program. This program focuses on the track of Christian pastoral counselling and people helping as it relates to the local church and lasix us pharmacy community at large.

The objective of this program is that the student will:

  • Develop a deepening conviction to the teaching of God's Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate biblical truth with clarity and conviction.
  • Commit to developing spiritual maturity in oneself and the best site others
  • Know basic biblical and theological content and sound Counselling principles to have well-rounded ministries
  • Understand and practice Christian counselling within a local church and community context to fulfill their callings
  • Increase in their demonstrated love for God and the universal church by seeking to minister healing through counselling
  • Cultivate godly ambitions in the area of Christian counselling
  • Be well-adjusted spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically
  • Effectively articulate biblical truth in the context of counselling
  • Develop pastoral skills in counselling with a strong ethic of using them only for the glory of God and not to impose them on others nor for personal gain
Admission Prerequisites Candidates must have a HSC or STPM or its equivalent.

A student with a MCE or SPM or its equivalent can apply to upgrade from the Diploma in Theology program to the Bachelor program after completing two years of study provided that he/she maintains a minimum GPA of 2.5. The Admissions Committee must approve any exception to this GPA minimum.
